Governance and oversight is provided by an active Board of Directors.
Craig Overmeyer, Partner, Hopewell Ventures
Mr. Overmyer brings nearly 20 years of operational private equity experience to his role as a principal of Hopewell Ventures. In addition to Hopewell, he was instrumental in establishing Adena Ventures, L.P., the nation’s first and largest New Markets Venture Capital Company. Prior to joining Hopewell, he served as regional vice president for Ridgewood Capital where he managed the Chicago office.
Mr. Overmyer previously served as vice president of Cooper Investment Partners where he analyzed private equity transactions for accredited individual investors, family offices and private institutional pensions. Before joining Cooper, he was part of a team brought into Avondale Federal Savings Banks to develop and establish its in-house brokerage capability. He also has held a seat on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Mr. Overmyer earned his bachelor’s from Indiana University and completed graduate work at Indiana and the University of Chicago.
Jeffrey Lampe, CFA, Partner, Hopewell Ventures
Mr. Lampe’s responsibilities include identifying investment opportunities, coordinating due diligence, negotiating equity financings, and working with portfolio company management teams.
Mr. Lampe most recently was Co-Founder and Senior Associate of Gazelle TechVentures, a $63 million Indianapolis-based venture capital firm founded in 1999, where he was instrumental in all aspects of the firm’s operations and portfolio. Prior to Gazelle, Mr. Lampe was a Senior Associate with Monument Advisors/Monument Capital Partners. Mr. Lampe currently serves on the board of directors for several technology and health care companies.
He holds a BS from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame (High Honors). He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Society of Chicago.

Kingdon Offenbacker, President and CEO, Echo Engineering and Production Supply, Inc.
Kingdon Offenbacker has served in the role of President and CEO of Echo Engineering & Production Supplies (operations in CA, IN, NC, WI, and China) since 1997. Echo Engineering is a forty year old provider of precision finishing solutions and engineered rubber and plastic components. Mr. Offenbacker has grown the business significantly, setting up two new manufacturing and warehousing facilities in North Carolina and Wisconsin.
In 2001, Mr. Offenbacker moved to Indiana to run the Company’s largest plant. Within the last six months he hired a President to manage all of Echo, enabling him to pursue other business interests such as venture capital investing. Echo has been ranked by the San Jose business journal as one of the top 100 fastest growing companies in the Silicon Valley.
Robert “Mack” McCormack, CEO, Pinnacle Asset Management, Inc.
Robert McCormack brings many years of experience in business management to his role at Pinnacle Asset Management. Mr. McCormack most recently served as president of Bloomington, Indiana-based AuthorHouse, where he guided the company from its early stages through very dramatic, rapid growth to become, by total title count, the world’s largest publisher.
At Baxter Healthcare, Mr. McCormack was responsible for supply-chain management and distribution center facility design. As a consultant for Crowe, Chizek & Company, Mr. McCormack provided manufacturing and supply-chain expertise to a variety of mid-market companies throughout the United States, with an emphasis on enterprise resource planning.
Mr. McCormack holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University.
Otto Frenzel (Observer)
Otto N. Frenzel IV currently serves as Chairman at Symphony Bank in Indianapolis, IN.
Frenzel is a veteran executive with major financial institutions in Greater Indianapolis. His experience includes executive positions with The National Bank of Indianapolis, National City Bank and Merchants National Bank in Indianapolis. He also was a partner with Monument Advisors and presently serves as chairman of Kauffman Engineering in Lebanon, IN.
Frenzel serves in various board of director positions for the Methodist Hospital Foundation, the International School of Indiana, the Goodwill Foundation, the Indiana State Museum Foundation, the Humane Society of Indianapolis, the Crossroads of America Council, Conner Prairie and Crown Hill Cemetery. He also presently serves as a trustee for the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
A former officer of the United States Marine Corps, Frenzel is a graduate of The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and holds an MBA in finance from Indiana University.
