GOPump™
The Symbios Medical flagship product is the Symbios GOPump™. Driven by an elastomeric pump, GOPump™ infusions typically run for several days post-op. Symbios Medical also offers the GOPump™ Dual that consists of two reservoirs that deliver site released local anesthetic following larger incision surgeries.
The Symbios GOPump™ attaches to the catheter and automatically directs local anesthetic to the pain source, dulling the pain and reducing or eliminating the need for additional painkillers or narcotics. Our unique design features the combination of advanced engineering and ergonomic research which results in a product that is easy to operate, simple to understand and convenient for all users.
The GOPump™ features:
- Dual reservoir system allows two catheters for additional medication and extended use
- Can be purchased with standard catheters or fenestrated catheters
- Accessory packs of 2.5″, 5″, 7.5″ and 10″ fenestrated catheters are available
- Insertion landmarks on catheters to help insure correct placement
- A steady base for anesthetic filling, so one person may easily install system
- A hard plastic outer case that allows caregivers and patients to observe the progress of infusion
- A built-in attachment clip which can be attached to either the surgical site or a belt
- Pouches for carrying pump come standard with 300ml and 600ml size pumps or with 150ml size pumps by request. Can also be customized by request to advertise your name and practice!
Patients experience greater pain relief and are able to return to their normal activities more quickly with fewer complications when using the GOPump™ as part of their post-surgical pain relief strategy. These small, portable devices allow the patient maximum mobility permitting them to resume their normal daily activities as quickly as possible. There are several GOPump™ designs available.
Kits include an introducer needle with introducer catheter, medication catheter, catheter connector, labels, dressing, and 60cc and 3cc syringes. (The Symbios GOPump™ Dual includes two of each item and also a carrying pouch.)
