GOPump™ Single

Continuous Infusion of a Local Anesthetic at the Surgical Site

The Symbios GOPump™ Rapid Recovery System is a complete postoperative infusion system to allow site-released local anesthetic to relieve pain that patients experience following surgical procedures.

The Symbios GOPump™ Rapid Recovery System includes a gauge introducer needle with introducer catheter, your choice of an epidural medication catheter or a fenestrated medication catheter, infusion pump and connectors.

The infusion pump is an elastomeric-driven system with a 150ml reservoir that allows the patient and physician to observe the progress of infusion. Pre-attached tubing, in-line filter, on/off clamp and flow restrictor make it simple to use. The system will deliver 2ml/hr of local anesthetic over an extended period.

GOPump™ ‘Y’

The single infusion pump also comes in a 300ml or 600ml dual reservoir with one catheter, allowing the option of either a 2ml/hr, 4ml/hr, or 6ml/hr flow rate. This is done by using a ‘Y’ connector, allowing for one catheter connection instead of two, which comes on our dual model. Larger reservoir volume allows the patient to receive a greater delivery flow rate of a local anesthetic or for a longer period of time.
